I cannot believe it is that time already to start preparing for the birth of baby #3!! One way that I am preparing for the birth this time around is focusing on becoming mentally prepared with positive birth affirmations and hypnobirthing.
Getting In The Right Mindset
During my previous births, I have faced some anxiety and fear that I actually think have stalled my labors and made them last a lot longer than necessary. I mean who isn’t a little afraid of birth, right?? But by becoming more informed and empowered, the anxiety will have less power over how my birth unravels.

I have used affirmations many times before for changing my mindset and transforming the way I think and know it is something that works for me. Affirmations have the ability to rewire your brain. Do not underestimate the power of your thoughts!
Now that I am in my third trimester, I plan on reading through my birth affirmations daily and displaying them around the room during labor so I can refer to these affirmations when needed. I think it will also help my husband seeing these cards around to know what to say to encourage me to keep going strong!
